TLC Wildlife Management is here to help you with all of your wildlife needs. We recognize the fact that you can love and enjoy wildlife without wanting to share your home or business with it!
TLC Wildlife Management can assist with raccoons, birds, skunks, woodchucks, and bats, as well as many other native Ohio wildlife species. Using our humane eviction and exclusion methods, we remove animals from attics, soffits, window wells, and from under decks, sheds, and barns, Once the animals have moved on, we prevent them from returning with permanent, proven exclusion techniques.
Traditional trapping can leave offspring in your home, creating a much larger problem and tragic outcome if they can't reunite with the mother. Trapping also requires multiple site visits and welfare checks on traps, which is often your responsibility. Trapping and removing one animal does not fix the cause of the problem. Wildlife is rarely the issue—the structural integrity of the building is.
We also offer Canada goose mitigation services using natural and humane methods to prevent unwanted nesting and aggressive behavior.
Adam Turpen, owner of TLC Wildlife Management, has been nurturing wildlife since 1995. For over 27 years, he has dedicated his career to creating solutions that enable people to live in harmony with their neighborhood wildlife.
Adam holds a degree in natural resources and wildlife management and uses that knowledge to provide solutions that rely on the natural behavior and biology of the animal in question.
He will take the time to help educate you on ways to mitigate wildlife encounters and how to create environments that are not as inviting for denning. We offer services to homeowners, businesses, HOAs, and municipalities.
Chris Kimball joined our team with a passion for working outdoors and learning new skills. Originally from sunny San Diego, he now calls Columbus home and is excited to tackle the unique challenges this role brings. He was drawn to the position by the chance to work with his hands, help people, and be part of a small company where the owners are not only kind but also genuinely fun to work with (his words, not ours).
Chris’s background is as varied as it is impressive. He spent two years as a correctional officer, gained valuable sales experience with one of the most reputable companies in wrestling, and has spent time working at public/community events. Each role has shaped his ability to handle a wide range of situations with confidence and care. He says what he enjoys most about this field is the opportunity to help people solve wildlife issues, giving them peace of mind and a sense of security.
Though Chris is still adjusting to Ohio winters (a big change from California’s sunshine), he loves being outside. In his free time, he stays active by working out, practicing Muay Thai, and wrestling. He also enjoys unwinding with video games. And here’s a fun fact: Chris can do a backflip! Please don’t ask him to demonstrate, though; that would be a tough one to explain to our insurance adjuster!
Chris’s combination of hard work, problem-solving skills, and positive attitude makes him a great fit for our team. We’re thrilled to have him on board!
Aden brings a unique blend of discipline, problem-solving skills, and a passion for helping people and wildlife to TLC Wildlife Management. Originally from Syracuse, NY, Aden joined the Marines at just 17, where he rose to the rank of Corporal in only two years! During his service, he trained 200 Republic of Korea (ROK) Marines and managed $1.2 million worth of equipment, gaining invaluable experience in leadership and communication.
Aden was drawn to this role by its non-lethal mission and the opportunity to assist both people and wildlife. He thrives on the challenge of assessing new situations every day and loves bringing peace of mind to clients while developing innovative solutions tailored to the specific species and scenarios he encounters. Aden’s favorite aspect of the job? The fact that no two days are ever the same continually sharpens his problem-solving skills.
When he’s not on the job, Aden stays active by hiking and hitting the gym. He also enjoys attending car shows. Ask him about his car history; he’s had some good ones! A lover of the outdoors, he is enjoying exploring Ohio, where he moved after his military service to be closer to family. Other interesting things about Aden: he has visited four foreign countries, can fly four types of military-grade drones, and can bench press 225 pounds!
With his unique skills, adaptability, and passion for making a difference, Aden is a valuable asset to our wildlife team.
